Woman shares ’embarrassing’ text messages sent by driving instructor ahead of her exam

A woman has gone viral online and sparked outrage after sharing a look at ‘awkward’ messages she claims were sent by her driving instructor before she took her exam

Rachel was unimpressed with the posts

Learning to drive can be very stressful – and it can be even worse if your driving instructor doesn’t create the best environment for you.

A woman has claimed she was put in a very ‘awkward’ situation with her instructor because he started sending her inappropriate texts – despite being married.

Rachel McKinley claims to have received several text messages from her driving tutor sharing screenshots of some of them in a recent TikTok video.

“What my driving instructor told me,” she captioned the video.

One post saw the unnamed man calling the 19-year-old ‘crafty’, while in another he asked her to ‘entertain me’.

He also made a lewd reference to Rachel doing “a quickie” after asking for a shorter lesson and asking that they “cheer each other up” when they were both feeling down.

Other posts show the man asking Rachel about a ‘booty call’, suggesting she buy him something for his birthday and telling her she ‘owes’ him a drink.

He then followed up with “did I say something wrong” when she chose not to respond to his advances.

He later insisted he was “joking”, before calling himself a “t*t”, writing: “I feel like I made a good t*t of me- even earlier by asking you.”

Rachel claims he sent the last message after asking her out on a date and being rejected.

She adds that she was “not leading him”, and was simply answering to try to make the situation less “awkward” as she could not get another instructor to help her before her test.

Many people were appalled by the posts and shared their own similar experiences.

One person replied, “I’m so glad I have an instructor.”

Another said: ‘I’m really amazed at how many driving instructors do this…mine was the exact same.’

A third wrote: ‘Obviously she’s not interested and he continues like her.’

Someone else added: “Omg this happened to me. So embarrassing.”
